The troubles of Trinamool Councilor Sunanda Sarkar are far from over as Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim assures proper action against her. Sunanda stoked a row after a viral video showed her thrashing a youth president - Kedar Das - of her party.
She reportedly slapped Kedar after he allegedly accused her of being involved in several extortion cases. Meanwhile, Kolkata police have registered against Sunanda. Four persons have been arrested in this regard till Wednesday evening in connection with the case.
Two of the FIR-named accused Debashis Das (42) alias Appu of Ramjoy Seal Lane and Tablu Adhikary (46) of Sonagachhi Lane allegedly owe allegiance to Sunanda Sarkar.
